What does the 100% donation policy mean?
Watan UK is committed to transparency in how donations are applied. Where campaigns state a 100% donation policy, funds received for those specific appeals are directed toward the stated charitable programme, subject to applicable administrative and processing requirements. Can I choose what my donation supports?
Yes. Donors can select specific campaigns or appeals when making a contribution. If no specific designation is selected, funds may be allocated to areas of greatest need in line with Watan UK’s charitable objectives.
How can I donate Zakat through Watan UK?
You may donate Zakat by selecting a designated Zakat appeal on our website. Zakat funds are distributed in accordance with Islamic guidelines and within the framework of UK charity regulations.
Is my donation tax-deductible in the UK?
If you are a UK taxpayer, your donation may be eligible for Gift Aid, allowing Watan UK to claim additional funds from HMRC at no extra cost to you. You will have the option to confirm Gift Aid eligibility during the donation process.
